Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Repairscope is a business-to-business (B2B) software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform designed for collision repair shops. The service analyzes insurance repair estimates and identifies potentially missed billable operations by cross-referencing published P-page guidelines and OEM repair procedures.

Repairscope is a reference tool. It does not replace the professional judgment of a licensed estimator. All supplement recommendations should be independently verified before submission to insurance carriers.

2. Pricing and Billing

  • Free trial: 7-day free trial with full access. No credit card required to start.
  • Founding member rate: $399/month, locked in permanently for early adopters.
  • Standard rate: $599/month at public launch.
  • Billing: Monthly subscription, billed at the start of each billing cycle.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Access continues through the end of your current billing period.

3. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
  • Share your account credentials with third parties
  • Submit fraudulent or fabricated estimate data
  • Use the service to intentionally inflate insurance claims beyond what is documented in published repair procedures
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the service without written permission

5. Intellectual Property

Our property: The Repairscope software, algorithms, user interface, branding, and documentation are owned by Repairscope and protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service.

Your data: You retain all rights to your estimate data, analysis results, and any content you upload. We do not claim ownership of your data. We use your uploaded estimates solely to provide the analysis service.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Repairscope is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that:

  • The service will identify every missed operation on every estimate
  • Any specific supplement amount will be approved by an insurer
  • The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • P-page references are current (published guidelines change periodically)

Approval likelihood estimates are based on industry averages and are not guarantees of payment.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Repairscope shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

  • By you: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.
  • By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with 30 days written notice except in cases of serious violations.
  • Effect of termination: Upon termination, your access to the service ends. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Colorado.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the service. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
